“Hi, I am Qiuyi Luo who is originally from a small city in China.”

“It’s very Inspiring and lucky for me to see how different cultures formed different tastes, not only the garments but also how this industry works in different countries since I have been studying fashion in Beijing Institute of Technology, Central Saint Martins in London and got my MA degree at Institute of Technology in America. Because in the end, Fashion is all about the people and their life.”

In 2020, Qiuyi Luo launched his brand ARC LUO and had his first runway show in New York. The collections include Arts-inspired silhouettes and creative cuts that demonstrate the amazing skills with both fabric and drape. Taking inspiration from everything from Dadaism to mathematics, ARC LUO uses fashion to explore philosophy, history and so much more. The brand mainly focuses on leisure and sports life scenes and advocates gender-free design.

“I believe that gender integration and differentiation is a natural instinct. Just like I think sexual orientation is fluid.”Qiuyi was interviewed by I-D Magazine and got selected as one of the globe young talents by Bazaar UK, and emerging designer by vogue China in 2021."I think fashion design is a form of artistic creation based on clothes. I use various media and forms in my creation, such as collages, videos, animations, paintings, clothes, text, music, and interviewing…Exploring the unseen story behind things and the process of design development are my main interests. "
