Margarita & Cristina Ng Ng

The duos that make up Ng2 Studios are Margarita and Cristina Ng Ng. They earned their Master's degree in fashion design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, FIT MFA, in New York City. The Chinese-Dominican twin sisters moved to the states to attend FIT after having been born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic with Chinese-immigrant parents. The duo dives into the mutuality and the biformity of their bicultural identities: Chinese and Caribbean cultures. The two sisters discovered their passion for avant-garde and streetwear designs as their inspirations while working on their thesis together. They embodied the essence of these two realms incorporating oversized, voluminous elements, adventurous silhouettes, and playful colors designed to integrate into an artistic wardrobe seamlessly.
