Max is an artist and dressmaker based in New York. Her dresses and related artworks explore the intersection of fantasy and identity as a function of time. Each gown is distinct and differs from the next, reflecting Max’s presence through a variety of materials and techniques. She makes each dress by hand and often knits the material the dresses are composed of. After graduating from the Parsons School of Design BFA Fashion Design program in 2021, she started her brand Max1111, with a focus on making custom dresses for a variety of artists in New York and Los Angeles. She is currently in the process of making her first collection of dresses, which will be shown in late 2023.
