L'Enchanteur
Soull & Dynasty OGUN are artists and designers, based in Brooklyn and the founders of L’ENCHANTEUR, a creative incubator inspired by science, color theory, mysticism, folklore, numerology, and healing. Soull and Dynasty have been creators, and designers since very young ages, where they would create jewelry from hair decorations their mother would buy, or take apart garments and reimagine them to their personalities. Through their designs, Soull & Dynasty seeks to communicate the inspiration of spirituality behind each of the works they exhibit, from jewelry & garments to small furniture and textiles.
In 2015, L’ENCHANTEUR created jewelry for 3.1 Philip Lim’s premiere jewelry collection for S/S16 as well as manufactured the 1st jewelry collection that was sold to 31 Philip Lim customers. Until 2018, L’E co-designed all of the jewelry alongside the head women’s RTW designer Avril Loufrani and Phillip Lim while producing runway jewelry collections for the brand. Simultaneously, in 2017 L’ENCHANTEUR released their 1st collection, 20,000 Leagues, which consists of jewelry and garments within the storytelling of the collection. In 2019, L’ENCHANTEUR designed over 40 articles of jewelry, including head sculptures, and body harnesses for what would be Beyoncé’s Black is KING, release in 2020.
Over the years, L’ENCHANTEUR has designed and created jewelry and clothing for Ms. Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, JAY-Z, Beyoncé, Jill Scott, Whoopi Goldberg, Stevie Wonder, Lenny Kravitz, Rick Ross, Earth Wind and Fire, Bad Bunny, Maluma, Mary J Blidge, Teyana Taylor, & Meg The Stallion. In April 2022, after a short hiatus, L’ENCHANTEUR presented their 1st full collection of jewelry, and garments, HOOD Breakfast, which was an ode to their family lineage, of Dominican ( West Indies) and Nigerian heritage, fused with their Flatbush Brooklyn upbringing, using bold vegetable motifs, hand carved gemstones, vibrant colors introducing new mascots for the brand.
L’ENCHANTEUR creates items that carry the ethos of multiple dimensionalities, cosmic tokens piercing through space and time. Each piece is created to express aspects of the wearer’s self that may be hidden, unfolding the layered versions of the wearer to uncover. L’ENCHANTEUR aims to create worlds where we become our truer renditions of our beings.
