Anne Crawford

Anne Crawford has had a long and colorful career in the world of fashion. She was the society editor and style director for L.A. Style Magazine through its run in the ’80s and ’90s. During those years she also wrote and appeared in in-flight videos for American Express Publishing about things to do and places to see in Los Angeles.

When the magazine was sold, Crawford was hired as fashion director at Town & Country magazine, based in New York.

After years of nonstop travel and challenging weather, she returned home to Santa Monica and began consulting for various European luxury fashion brands, primarily as VIP Ambassador for Roger Vivier Paris, and as Los Angeles Ambassador for her longtime friend Rick Owens.

Crawford was a contributing writer for Fashion in LA, published by Phaidon, for which she interviewed several friends for chapters of the book.

She is a crisis counselor for The Trevor Project, a lifeline that provides crisis intervention and suicide prevention for LGBTQ youth nationwide.

Crawford is a fifth-generation Californian and lives with her husband, Dudley, and two dogs in Ojai, where she is an organic citrus and avocado farmer.
