Tessa Thompson is a critically acclaimed actress and is making her mark as a producer as well. Most recently, Thompson can be seen reprising her role as ‘Bianca’ in “Creed III.” The third installment of the boxing saga, directed by Michael B. Jordan, hit theaters on March 3, 2023. The film boasted the biggest opening weekend in history for any of the "Rocky" or "Creed" films, as well as the highest opening weekend ever for a sports film.
Thompson can also be seen as ‘Valkyrie’ in Marvel’s “Thor: Love and Thunder” which was released in theaters in July 2022.In 2020, Thompson starred in Amazon Prime’s “Sylvie’s Love,” which she Executive Produced.In 2021, Thompson starred in the indie film, “Passing,” which debuted at the Sundance Film Festival and she also Executive Produced.Thompson’s past film credits include “Creed,” “Creed II,” “Men in Black:International,” “Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Endgame,” “Little Woods,” “Annihilation,” “Sorry to Bother You,” “Selma,” and “Dear White People.”
Thompson can also be seen on television in HBO’s “Westworld” Season 4, which premiered in June 2022. In 2019, Thompson appeared on the cover of Time magazine, where he was showcased as a trailblazer and “Leader of the Next Generation." Thompson is currently in production, playing ‘Hedda Gabler’ in Nia DaCosta’s upcoming film “Hedda” for MGM's Orion Pictures and Plan B. She will also produce via her own Viva Maude label, launched in 2020.

In 2021, Kishori Rajan(“Random Acts of Flyness”) joined Thompson as her producing partner tocontinue to build Viva Maude's production and development slate. Announced projects include “The Secret Lives ofChurch Ladies” at HBO Max, and at HBO, adaptations of the books “Luster” and “Who Fears Death.”
