Joseph Altuzarra

Joseph Altuzarra is a French-American fashion designer and the founder of the luxury women’s ready-to-wear brand Altuzarra. Known for his modern, sensual aesthetic and meticulous tailoring, Altuzarra draws on his multicultural background and global influences to create refined, empowering clothing. Since launching his brand in 2008, he has received numerous honors, including CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year (2014) and Accessories Designer of the Year (2017). His work has been worn by cultural icons such as Michelle Obama, Rihanna, and Beyoncé, and he has expanded into lifestyle collaborations with West Elm Kids (2022, 2025), Kravet Couture (2024), and Victoria’s Secret, where he served as the brand’s first-ever Designer in Residence in 2024.
