ManLuu

MANLUU, a New York-based luxury fashion house that celebrates Creole culture, was founded by Martinican creative director and brand architect MoAnA LUU. The brand reimagines the evolution of Creole jewelry and pays homage to the rich, diverse cultural heritage of the French West Indies. MoAnA's passion for Creole jewelry, rooted in generations of heritage and expertise, was nurtured in her grandparents' jewelry store in Fort-de-France, Martinique.

Launched in 2021, MANLUU quickly gained notoriety with its fine jewelry line, especially after superstar Cardi B was seen in a series of viral pregnancy photos wearing MANLUU bracelets. The brand, under MoAnA Luu's guidance, has also adorned celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Mary J. Blige, Issa Rae, Wyclef Jean, and fashion legend Maye Musk. MANLUU's collections are available in the United States at Nordstrom and Goop, and internationally in St. Barth and Monaco.

The ManLuu collection invites exploration and evokes nostalgia with architectural lines and geometric details in playful, stackable, gender-neutral pieces. Signature themes like refined gold woven rattan, oversized beads, and embossed octagonal barrels define her collections. Each statement piece, handcrafted by local artisans in the New York City-based ManLuu Atelier, features 18k gold, natural precious stones, vermeil, and sterling silver.

MoAnA invites the world to discover cherished objets d’art, re-imagined with humility, pride, and joie de vivre. A creative powerhouse, MoAnA's innovative approach to creation and design has driven her multi-faceted and accomplished career. She has been instrumental in reinvigorating iconic brands as Chief Content and Creative Officer of ESSENCE magazine, the ESSENCE Festival of Culture, Chief Brand Officer of Trace Media Group, and Activilong Paris Cosmetics. Her collaborations with luminaries like Naomi Campbell, Alicia Keys, Serena Williams, Ciarra, and Iman highlight her expansive influence. An advocate for Black creatives, MoAnA has consistently fought for greater representation in media, fashion, and the arts. Her talents extend to interior design, notably showcased in her work at the Hotel Apolline in Martinique.
